This is a report by South Asian Americans Leading Together (SAALT) that documents 302 incidents of hate violence and xenophobic political rhetoric aimed at South Asian, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Middle Eastern, and Arab communities in the United States between November 9, 2016 and November 7, 2017. This represents an over 45% increase from the previous year.
