It also includes minutes from a successful meeting, three demands opposing “Indira’s Fascism” and a detailed description of the Santhal Uprising in the states of Bihar and West Bengal.

This volume of Sunrise newsletter, subtitled “News and Views on Bangladesh,” covers Indira Gandhi’s re-election and its implications for the Indian subcontinent. The issue also includes a letter from the daughter of the assassinated Sheikh Mujib of Bangladesh.
India Forum Bulletin
This bulletin, published by India Forum, provides a detailed description of a demonstration that occurred during a celebration of India’s Republic Day (January 26th) in the San Francisco Bay Area. The demonstration was organized by the New India Coalition, which had the support of several groups in the Bay Area.
India Forum (May 1979)
This 97-page issue of India Forum magazine, published in Oakland, contains writing from Gail Omvedt, Sarvohara Shikshan Mala, Sharat G. Lin, and S. Ghosh. The issue also includes political documents from the Ad Hoc Committee for Inquiry into Kanpur Massacre, the Kerala State Committee of CPI (M-L), and the South Asia People’s Organisation.
Gadar (November/December 1992)
The November/December 1992 newsletter of the Gadar Memorial Center, located in San Francisco. The newsletter contains short announcements about events at the center, as well as an original essay about Gadar leader Kartar Singh Saraba and a republished essay from a 1920 issue of Gadar.
Gadar (August 15, 1993)
The August 15, 1993 issue of the newsletter of the Gadar Memorial Center. The issue commemorates Indian independence as well as the 80th anniversary of the Gadar Party. Also included is an essay on Subhash Chandra Bose and an image of Ghadar Dhandora, published by the Gadar Party in Nanking, China on May 15, 1930.
Documents of the Committee of Concerned Indian Students and the Committee for Human Rights
This 23-page document published by two University of California-Berkeley student organizations, the Committee of Concerned Indian Students and the Committee for Human Rights, contains thirteen records of essays pertaining to women’s liberation, workers’ rights, statements of solidarity with other cultural organizations, India’s political climate during 1976, and more.
"Homage To Martyrs" Flyer
Flyer detailing a public event at the University of California-Berkeley sponsored by the Women of South Asian Descent and Punjabi People’s Cultural Association groups. It describes the event as a vocal music performance by two artists as well as a talk by Professor Jagmohan Singh.
