Booklet titled The Story of the Oriental Peoples -- Japan, China, India, written by Florence Natalie Heacock in collaboration with Walker Brown. The booklet was published by the Los Angeles City School District Division of Psychology and Educational Research in 1929. The booklet contains epigraphs from Confucius and Rudyard Kipling, a foreword by Assistant Superintendent Helen Watson Pierce.
India Independence Day
Program for India Independence Day Dinner held in New York on January 26, 1945, and hosted by the India League of America. The guest of honor the dinner was Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit; also in attendance was Sirdar J.J. Singh, Pearl Buck, Lin Yutang, Elsa Maxwell, Francis J. McConnell, and William Shirer.
