Clipping states, "Representatives of the Negro people and the peoples of Greece and India will participate in the picket line before the Dutch consulate [...] to protest the Dutch attack on the Indonesian Republic [...]." Godha Ram Channon is named as the picketing representative of the National Committee for India’s Freedom.

Letter from Gobind Behari Lal to Godha Ram Channon dated November 8, 1952. In it, Lal addresses Channon’s son Prakash regarding a complaint he made that, because Lal failed to mention his father’s role in the Ghadar Party and related revolutionary movements, he did not introduce him properly at a recent dinner party.

Letter from Gobind Behari Lal to the editor of The March of India contesting a statement made by Khushwant Singh in an article published in the January-February issue which accused Ram Chandra, President of the Ghadar Party 1914-1917, of being a "British spy." Ram Chandra was shot and killed by a member of a rival faction of the Ghadar Party during the Hindu-German Conspiracy Trial (1917).
Letter from Swami Ashokananda to Godha Ram Channon
A letter dated October 21, 1949 from Swami Ashokananda to Godha Ram Channon, Secretary of Pand Jawahaelal Nehru’s Reception Committee. The typed letter enclosed a $25 check to help cover expenses of the reception. The letter also contains a handwritten reply from Channon thanking him and asking for representatives of Ashokananda to help with the reception.

UC Hears Liaquat Ali
Newspaper clipping from the San Francisco Chronicle entitled “UC Hears Liaquat Ali.” The article documents a speech given by Pakistani Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan at the University of California - Berkeley in May of 1950. Khan spoke to 2500 students in UC’s Greek Theatre and warned his audience that “only those who make war can primarily maintain peace.”
