"August Fifteenth -- Independence Or Partition Day?"
Paper written by Professor Taraknath Das of Columbia University and printed by America India Feature and News Service on August 11, 1950. Professor Das opinions that August 15, 1947 should not be celebrated as Independence Day for India but rather as a mournful ‘Partition Day’.

Letter dated August 31, 1951 from Mrs. G.J. Watumull, Chairman of the Distribution Committee of the Watumull Foundation, to Godha Ram Channon. The letter references an earlier exchange between the recipient and sender and states that the Watumull Foundation would pay for round the world air passage with a lengthy stopover in India for Mr. Channon.
